Wellbeing Ambassadors

A lovely after school event today, to celebrate the fabulous work carried out by our brilliant Well Being Ambassadors.
Zoe, Maeve & Maly bravely presented to a large audience of other WBA’s, parents and staff from schools across Central Warwickshire, sharing their experiences and how being a WBA has benefited them.
A brief reminder that they played a massive role in encouraging nearly every child at Long Itchington to participate in the Fits A Knockout, which we were extremely successful in! 🥇They have been to events off site to receive training and to assist with supporting children across the county with a number of physical and social activities. Zoe was recently selected as an Allstar ambassador and invited to assist with a sports event at Kingsley School. She also initiated our gardening project with the help of her mum & was granted funding to assist.
They were also fantastic help on sports day, assisted with Girl Power, the Santa Dash, Girls biggest Football match, Maly often gives up his lunchtime to referee football matches, they have supported play with the younger children and also helped with Muddy Faces.
Sadly, we will be needing to replace Zoe & Ryan, who will be moving on after their 2 years of service. They have been amazing and have big shoes to fill! I will be asking them to speak to Y4 children to see who has what it takes to be the next WBA’s.
