Upcoming events
Good morning,
Just to keep you updated of the events that we have going on in school next half-term in the run up to Easter. Some of these were previously advertised on Dojo on January 16th.
1. World Book Day - Thursday 6th March. On this day, children are welcome to bring in a favourite book to share with their class and an object which gives a clue to the title or plot of a book. These will then be used to create discussion about books throughout the day and encourage children in their love of reading. https://www.worldbookday.com/
2. Neurodiversity Celebration Week (17th - 23rd March) - we will be using resources to find out more about, and celebrate, neurodiversity both in class and in Collective Worship. https://www.neurodiversityweek.com/introduction
3. Comic Relief (Red Nose Day) - Friday 21st March. Children are invited to wear red on this day along with any Comic Relief themed items such as red noses and deely-boppers in return for a donation to Comic Relief. https://www.comicrelief.com/
4. Wear Purple for Epilepsy Awareness (Wednesday 26th March) - donations towards Epilepsy Foundation Purple Day | Epilepsy Foundation
5. Autism Awareness Day (Wednesday 2nd April) - we will share stories in Collective Worship and throughout the day.
Thank you,
Mrs Moss
