Eight of our Year5 pupils, had the fantastic opportunity to compete in the High 5 netball tournament at Kings High today. They started off with the coaches of Warwick Prep & Kings High , participating in 4 different skills sessions. After a short break, they were then ready for the tournament, where they played against 6 other schools from the Coventry and central Warwickshire area. There were 24 schools attending.
The first game was a win for us against Coughton , followed by 2 draws and 3 losses including a defeat against Clapham Terrace, who went on to win the overall tournament.
It was a great effort from them all as High 5 is very challenging. Every time you play, you are in a new position. There’s lots to remember!
They are all very committed to training every Wednesday after school, where we have a few things to work on ready for our next tournament at Princethorpe, in a few weeks time. 👏👏👏
