This fabulous team of Y3’s had 2 weeks to learn skills, create & remember a routine and vault , in the School Sports Gymnastics Competition. We had been on the waiting list since September for the event but only had the invite to attend at LWGC a few weeks ago. I love gymnastics & I know our pupils like a challenge!
They had 3 PE lessons and 2 after school sessions with myself to get them competition ready, the rest was up to them to be creative with their routine and practice!
Echoing Mrs Richard’s assembly yesterday, practice makes perfect! And they certainly were! This is the first time we have been to this event and we are so proud of them all, and for them to have come away with the Bronze Medal, is just amazing 🤩 🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏻🤸🏾‍♂️🥉💪👏👏👏

It was a fantastic opportunity to get to use the apparatus at LWGC and to be able to perform in such a relaxed and fun environment. We were privileged to also be entertained by two of their squad members, performing their floor routines preparing for an upcoming competition.
