Year 5 and 6 attended a Christingle Service at Coventry Cathedral this afternoon. We learned about the meaning of Christingle and what it represents as well as singing a range of songs with actions. There were 4 other schools there as well as adults from the local community so we were treated to some readings and songs from those other schools as well.
We also took the opportunity to have a look at the ruins of the original Cathedral while were there, especially as Year 6 are currently studying the Blitz.
