• Year Ninjas!

  A fun filled morning for some of our year 3 ninja speed stackers over at Budbrooke Primary today. They have been practicing hard over the past few weeks, all showing great skills, determination, perseverance and teamwork. We even had a last minute substitute who showed true courage and they all did us proud 👏👏🤩

  

• E-Safety Update

  At school we are supporting your child to keep safe online. Please can you continue to talk to your child at home about how to stay safe when online. Not sure where to begin? These conversation starter suggestions can help.
  
  - Ask your children to tell you about the sites they like to visit and what they enjoy doing online.
  
  What games do you and your friends like to play online? Can you show me the websites you visit the most? Shall we play your favourite game online together?
  
  - Ask them about how they stay safe online.
  What tips do they have for you, and where did they learn them? What is OK and not OK to share?
  
  Ask them if they know where to go for help.
  Where can they go to find the safety advice, privacy settings and how to report or block on the services they use?
  
  - Think about how you each use the internet.
  What more could you do to use the internet together? Are there activities that you could enjoy as a family?

• Hockey Festival

  Another great opportunity offered to us via School Games and Kingsley school! A team selected from their performance in PE lessons in Hockey, saw them play in a Hockey Festival at St Nicholas Park Astro, using wooden sticks and coached by Kingsley staff whilst playing on full sized pitches. It was an amazing experience with the team winning their final match against Kingsway to get them 3rd place 🥉👏👏👌🏑 Thank you to the fabulous parents who helped with transport.

• Road Safety Week

  Next week is Road Safety Week. To help support us promote this important message with the children, please see attached information about a competition organised by Warwickshire Safe & Active Travel. Children can enter their design on a blank sheet of A4 paper which can be sent to the email address provided. We will be talking to classes next week about road safety in assembly time - please do continue this important message at home using the great resources from Brake, the road safety charity:

• Yellow team winners!

  Congratulations to yellow team! Yellow team are our Dojo points winners for this half term. For their reward today, Fin, Thomas, Zoe and Lillian from Year 6 put together some outside and inside fun activities for the children to take part in. It was lovely to see the older pupils really looking out for the younger pupils and joining in all of the activities together, they did a fantastic job.
