Welcome to Wren Class!

September 2018

Dear Parents,

We would like to say a big welcome to Long Itchington Primary School, Wren Class. I hope you all had a wonderful Summer with lots of exciting events - from talking to the children it appears that they had lots of fun and they have been able to write about it.

We have already started our topic for this half term which is Autumn and Marvellous Me. Please see our Topic Web at the top of the page for more details.

PE and Games

The children will have PE lessons Friday mornings. They will need suitable PE kit on these days (white t-shirts and blue/black shorts).

Welly Walks

The children will be taking part in welly walks around the school which will give the children the chance to explore our beautiful grounds Please can you ensure that children have wellies and coats in school for this.

Reading

Please continue to read with your children each day. We will now be starting phase 2 of our phonics.

Yours sincerely

Gemma Townend and Sara Lees
